At Plywood Components, Inc., we are a leading supplier of custom slave pallets for use in automated rack systems and other material handling applications in warehouses and distribution centers. With our expert knowledge of the structural properties of engineered wood products, we work one-on-one with our customers to design and build custom slave pallets rated for application-specific load sizes. We specialize in manufacturing slave pallets for high density AS/RS and robotic stacking systems that store an extensive range of lightweight and heavyweight goods. Based on the unique needs of each individual system, we manufacture extremely durable and long lasting slave pallets from plywood materials in a variety of grades and thicknesses and vary them in size and strength based on service requirements.
In our well-equipped manufacturing facility, we cut and shape plywood measuring as thick as 3-3/4” into slave pallets in any dimensions specified. We can add treatments such as aluminum or polyethylene overlays, laminations, edge banding, and machined handholds to facilitate ergonomic handling and add mobility. Our product offering also includes our proprietary HARDECKS™, which we build with Group 4 hardwood faces and soft inner plies for maximum density and strength. This material offers as much as eight times the wearability of regular plywood or softwoods and withstands up to 1,400 lbs. of pressure without flaking or failure.
Our custom plywood and HARDECK slave pallets are an economical and durable solution to an extensive range of material handling requirements. With their strength and stiffness, they provide exceptional longevity, and when they become damaged or worn, we can carry out maintenance and repair here in our facility. We also recycle boards and worn pallets.
